Welcome to the February edition of our monthly e-newsletter! In this issue we share our latest Practice Perfect Presents video, a pair of conferences we’ll be attending, and another update on our PenPal AI trial.
Practice Perfect’s latest official release is Version R650. For more information about the updates and changes included in this release, click here.
Practice Perfect Presents is a series of bite-size videos that highlight some of the handy tools available in the Practice Perfect ecosystem. In our latest video, we show you just how easy it is to use our secure Document Exchange feature in the Client Portal.
Whether you’re making clinical notes available to clients, or you need them to send you something like their medical history or insurance policy information, the Document Exchange feature is an easy, safe way to do so.
As a reminder, the Client Portal is included in your Practice Perfect subscription, so if you’d like to take advantage of this feature, contact support today.
Next month, Practice Perfect will be heading to a couple of conferences in the U.S.
First, we’ll be heading to the annual Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS) conference in Las Vegas–not as exhibitors–but as attendees. We’ll be walking the exhibit halls, attending seminars, and learning lots at the premier event for healthcare information technology.
Second, we’re going to be exhibiting at the Psychotherapy Networker Symposium in Washington, DC. So if you happen to be in attendance, be sure to stop by our booth to say “Hello”. We always appreciate an opportunity to greet our clients in person.
Last but not least, we want to take a moment to provide a brief update on the trial. Thank you to everyone who has registered for the waitlist. We greatly appreciate your patience while development continues on this brand new feature.
We’re currently implementing a few changes based upon the feedback of our first round of trial users. For example, we’re finding that many users prefer to record treatment sessions rather than use it purely for dictation, so we’ve increased the maximum recording length. In addition, we’re finding that many users would like to append notes as well as create them, so we’re looking at ways to edit the notes with PenPal rather than simply overwrite them, as well as adding a new find and replace function to easily edit transcripts prior to processing.
There’s still plenty of space on our waitlist so if you wish to try out PenPal AI in the near future, and ensure you don’t miss any updates, click the button below to join.
