About This Release

We are pleased to announce the official release of Practice Perfect EMR + Management Software Version 2.0.0.519. Please review the attached list of new features & benefits carefully.

Treatment Plan tab:

The Treatment Plan tab will now show both VISITS and UNITS both Approved and USED on each authorization line based on the Start Date, End Date, Funding Source and Fee Code criteria entered on that line. Use of this information will be expanded into the blue-header are and Funding Report in future releases.

Daily Notes signature timestamp:

The printed Daily Note will always show the original signature date even if revisions have been made and the note has been re-signed since. Amended Notes will always show their original signature date, as well.

Daily Note printing issue:

The Print and Preview buttons were disabled if only Don't show blank sections was selected as an option - this has been corrected.

Daily Note entry:

The Appt Length displayed field was also including any cancelled appointments for the client on the same day - this has been corrected.

Daily Note Comments:

Comments added to Daily Notes could not be altered once a note had been Completed & Signed. Since the comment does not appear on the Daily Note itself and is not part of the clinical record, this has been changed and comments can now be added/edited even after a note has been Completed & Signed.

Goal Entry:

A new column called Mins has been added to each Goal line which can contain the number of minutes spent on each goal. This will be displayed on a new, optional printed note format being released within the coming months.

Daily Note setting:

Until now, the option only existed to bring-forward the entire daily note - now this can be defined by section under Settings, Customize Progress Notes/Documentation.

Goal Entry setting:

The Therapeutic Intervention/Comment entered with each goal on each day now has the option of being brought-forward - or not (until now, it was always brought-forward). This can be set under Settings, Customize Progress Notes/Documentation with the new Automatically bring forward Goal Therapeutic Interventions option.

Scheduler

Scheduler display:

An issue existed in which the scheduler would not allow a jump to next week if moving forward one day at a time - this only occured if appointments existed on a day that was originally allowed (like a Saturday) but had since been removed. This has been corrected.

Waiting List:

The User column information would not necessarily be retained if the order of the list was changed manually using the Up and Down  icons - this has been corrected.

Reporting

Payor Listing:

This report was sometimes not working and resulting in a ''Truncation Error" - this has been corrected.

General & Setup

FOTO integration:

The client contained in the Blue Header will always be sent to FOTO regardless of what appointment may be highlighted (if on the scheduler), when the FOTO  icon is selected.

Please also note that FOTO is ceasing Canadian operations in July 2019.

Wired Client

Wired Client icon:

The Wired Client  icon was being displayed on appointments even if the clinic was not setup for Wired Client. This has been corrected - it was a display issue, no info was being transmitted.

Wired Client

Wired Client integration:

The link between Wired Client and Practice Perfect has been enhanced to include appointment changes within the current date, until now only future-dated changes were transmitted.
