Practice Perfect Login:
There was as issue in which sometimes the Login Location, asked during the login process, was not retained from the previous login, this has been corrected.
Blue Side Bar:
The Gender icon for the current in-focus client has been added to the blue side bar to the right of the client's picture.
The Company Name field in the Physicians detail screen now contains a drop-down function. Itt is now possible to drop-down to previously entered Physician companies instead of having to enter them from scratch if they already exist.
Sales Tax Rates:
Sales Taxe rates have now been expanded to 3 decimal points, up from 2 decimal points.
When searching within the Physician, Other Contact and Payor Listings, the CTRL-UP and CTRL-DOWN keys will now find the next and previous matches accordingly (like they already do in the Client Listing screen).
If an email address field contains incorrectly formatted information, the attention icon will now be displayed in that field.
When selecting the Guardian as the policy holder, the Guardian information was not automatically being displayed - this has been corrected.
Several system reports would fail if a square bracket [ or ] existed in the client's blue header notes - this has been corrected.
Client Listing report:
The exported version of this report now also includes Injury, Body Part, Discharge Date and Discharge Status information.
Client Fall-Off report:
The Last Provider Seen and status of that appointment (eg: Completed, Cancelled, etc) will now be included on this report.
Payment Applicaton report:
A new 'Discrepancy' column has been added to this report showing the short-fall in any payments that have been made compared to what was expected.
Provider Performance Summary:
A new option, entitled Inlcude cancels, rebooks in scheduled hours, has been added allowing the user to select whether or not cancelled/rebooked appointments should be counted as scheudled time or not for productivity reporting.
Progress Note Status report:
A new filter entitled Document Type has been added to this report.
A new option has been added to each User profile under Housekeeping, Security, Security Users entitled Add/Edit Note Paragraphs to where you can decide if the specific user can add macro Paragraphs to All users or Self Only.
If the Incident Physician has a Company Name, it will now be included on this report.
A bug that sometimes returned an incorrect Predictive amount when multiple payors are present has been corrected.
A bug that showed the incorrect Check In/Check Out time when a client was seeing multiple providers on the same day has been corrected (when selecting a Checked-in Duration option).
Unpaid Services report:
This report was not respecting the Only account over x Days option (a bug introduced in R525) - this has been corrected.
A bug in which the Guardian Name may have been carried forward from statement to statement has been corrected.
Contact Log Follow-up report:
This report can now be printed either in order by the Note Date or Follow-up Date, selected in the Display Order options area.
The exported version of this report now includes each Provider's Birthdate.
Receipt Only format:
A new option has been added to the Receipt Only settings entitled Include Indicent description. If selected, the Incidient Description will appear on the simple receipts.
Shortcut F4 key:
The shortcut F4 key info box will now include:
When an appointment is Cancelled/Rebooked, the user can now either free-type a descripion as to why the appointment was cancelled/rebooked or select a reason from the new drop-down listing.
A new mouse-based function has been added to mimic the ENTER key behaviour on the Scheduler. Clicking direclty over the client's name will take the user the Client Detail screen for that client.
Single-clicking on a paragraph will now display that paragraph, in full, at the bottom of the Paragraph listing panel.
All references to 'Client Signature' have been changed to 'Client/Authorized Signature', both on-screen and printed.
Daily Note locking:
An issue in which Daily Notes were incorrectly locked (meaning another user had them open, as well, at the same time) has been corrected.
A Duration can now be added to any section of a Daily Note both for entry and printing.
To enable Duration entry on any section of a Daily Note, go into Settings, Customize Progress Notes/Documentation and tick the Timed box next to any section requiring duration entry.
Daily Note Goal Entry:
Duration can now also be entered on Long Term goals and not just the subordinate Short Term goals and then printed accordingly.
Daily Note Goal Entry:
A new option exists that forces Long Term goals as having being worked on today if any of the sub-ordinate Short Terms goals were worked on today. Ie; If a Short Term goal was indicated as being worked on for a given date, the Long Term goal above it will also automatically be ticked as having been worked on today.
To enable this option, visit Settings, Customize Progress Notes/Documentation, and select the Long term goal is required if short term goal is selected option.
Daily Notes and Providers:
A Daily Note can no longer be Completed and Signed until a Provider has been selected.
Family Physician Company Name has been added as an available field in the Customized Documents field settings.
MIPS and Billing:
A new option has been added to prevent MIPS scores (G-Codes) from being submitted to Payors via HCFA or EDI837. The option, found in Payors on both the HCFA Preferences and EDI Preference tabs is entitled Don't include MIPS in claims submissions. If selected, these charges will not be submitted and will remain unbilled. This is generally used only for those clinics using Practice Perfect with a linked registry such as Patient 360.
If a client is missing a Home Phone #, which is required by HCAI, then the client's Other Phone # will be submitted instead. If both the Home Phone # and Other Phone # are absent, the transmission to HCAI will fail.
The Telus integration drivers have been updated to the most current version, POS v7.0.
Phrases and Security:
A new option exists under each User profile (Housekeeping, Security, Security Users) entitled Add/Edit Note Paragraphs to in which you can indicate if this user can macro paragraphs to All Users or Self Only.
Document & Progress Note Status report:
A new option has been added in the Status drop-down allowing users to report on only those Daily Notes that have a Client/Authorized Signature missing.
Daily Note Duration:
A new option exists under Settings, Customize Progress Note/Documentation, entitled Calculate Duration automatically. If selected, the Duration field on the Daily Note will be automatically caluclated based on the Time In and Time Out fields.
