Client Listing speed:
A recent update caused a slowness in loading <All Location> Client Listings and the speed of client searches. This has been corrected by reverting to looking at only the last active incident for each client instead of ALL incidents.
Recovering Deleted Items:
Recovering more than one type of Wastebasket item at one time has been disabled. If the user needs to recover data spanning multiple types of data, each type will need to be recovered on their own, moving foward. A confirmation window will also now appear when recovering items.
Email Settings:
Outgoing Email settings have now become Global, the same across an entire company, instead of based on the individual desktop, which was causing a lot of issues. Warning: After installing this update, you may have to re-visit your outbound appointment reminder and invoice email settings if your emails fail to send. Please contact our support team for assistance, if this does occur. It is a one-time fix.
Printing Reports:
A bug was introduced in a recent release in which, if you select to Print from a Previewed report, the printer dialogue box did not appear and the default printer and settings were used automatically. This has been corrected.
Faxing:
Authorized Providers by Payor:
You can now indicate if your clients should be prevented from booking with specific Payors alongside specific Providers. For example, if a particular Provider is not credentialed with a Payor, this can now be indicated, and if you attempt to a patient with this Payor/Provider combination, you will be warned.
To indicate that a Provider is not allowed to see client's who have a specific Payor, go into that Provider's detail screen, click on the Billing #'s tab and locate the Payor in the listing that will appear. In the column labelled Authorized, untick the adjacent box, indicating that this combination is not permitted.
F4 Pop-up information:
The Created On timestamp information is now based on the local computer time and not the server time, if the server is located in a different timezone.
Printing issue after Faxing:
An issue in which reports were printing automatically after being faxed has been corrected, it was an issue arising from a recent update.
Client Listing report:
An issue in which the Appointment Count Ranges filters were not working properly has been corrected.
Zone Report filter:
Revenue Report:
The exported version of the Revenue Report now contains the Compensation Amount for each service as well as a breakdown of Client $ Paid-to-date, Client $ Adjusted-to-date, Payor $ Paid-to-date and Payor $ Adjusted-to-date for each service.
Client Activities by Payment listing:
A bug in which the top header notes were not being refreshed between client on the Client Activities by Payment screen has been corrected.
Customized Documents:
Empty fields were not being brought-forward in Customized Documents, if that's how the fields were setup to behave.
Daily Notes Compact report:
The Provider's credentials were appearing incorrectly under the Physician's name on this version of the Daily Notes report, this has been corrected.
Daily Note Goal Entry:
Until now, Goals could not be modified on an Annotated Note once the Goals for the day had been entered and the note was Completed/Signed. With this update, if ANY note for a specific date remains Incomplete, then the Goals for that date may be modified.
Time In/Time Out automation:
Under Settings, Customize Progress Note/Documentation in the Progress Note tab, a new setting has been added, Auto time in/time out based-on.
There are three options that determined which Time in and Time out will appear on your daily notes, as follows:
Scheduled Time - If selected, the scheduled start and stop times will automatically populate on your daily notes.
Check In/Check Out - if selected, then the checked-in and checked-out time from the scheduler will automatically populate on your daily notes.
None - if selected, the Time in and Time out must be manually entered on your daily notes, this is the default setting.
Automated Billing Provider on Daily Notes:
A new option has been added under Settings, Customize Progress Note/Documentation on the General tab entitled Force billing provider on daily notes. The default is unticked.
If selected, if the Provider on the daily note is NOT the Billing Provider for that incident, then the Billing Provider will automatically appear as the Co-Provider on the note (who will then also need to Complete/Sign the note).
Disable Client Booking option:
A new option has been added allowing the user to disable the ability for patients to book appointments online, but still make use of the rest of the client portal features.
This new option can be found under Settings, Customize Web Client portal and is entitled Clients can book appointments online. Unticking this option will remove all mention of appointment booking from the client portal.
Provider Type booking:
A new field entitled Provider Type has been added to the Client, Incident tab. If a Provider Type is entered here, then only Providers that belong to that Provider Type will be permitted for booking for this client. If the new field is left blank, then ANY Provider can be booked with the patient.
Client Document exchange:
When Daily Notes and Documents are exported to the Client Portal, a new Preview button exists allowing the user to basically see what the patient will see should they download and open the document(s).
Texting Language Preference:
Good news! You may now indicate in which language your patient wishes to receive text messages! Multiple versions of the same message, in either English, Spanish or French, can now be setup in the Wired Client. The Preferred Language field, under the Client record in the Demographics tab, is where Wired Client looks to to establish which messaging language to use.
NEW Reports:
The following reports have been added to the web-based version of Practice Perfect:
Scheduling reports, Revenue reporting, the Operations Report and the Daily Reconciliation Report are next on our list.
EDI837 Submission Report:
Duration has been added as a column to this report.
Military Time option on EDI837 and HCFA invoices:
Some payors require the time in and time out to be reported with each claim line on both the HCFA forms (above Box 24) and EDI837 files (in the NTE segment of Loop 2400). And, some payors require this in a Military Time format, which is now available.
Under each Payor under both the HCFA Preferences and EDI Preferences tabs, a new drop-down field exists and is entitled Include time in/time out on each service. The options are as follows:
EDI837 Diagnosis Codes:
A bug in which certain Diagnostic Codes did not get included in the EDI837 file when different ICD10 codes were used for different CPT codes, all on the same invoice, has been corrected.
HCAI Update:
HCAI Version R3.28 drivers have been included on this update, effective as of July 27th, 2022. There is no visible change for the user.
COVIU Integration:
The integration with our new Telehealth partner Coviu has been completed!
Under each Provider's detail screen, there are now two fields having to do with the Coviu integration, as follows:
Patient Virtual Link: This is the link that will be sent to the patient with each appointment reminder (text or email) which the patient will then click-on to launch their therapy session.
Provider Virtual Link: This is the link that indicates the Provider' session in Coviu. When in the appointment is selected followed by a right-click, the Launch Teletherapy function will call this specific link for the provider in-question.
Both of these links will be provided by Coviu.
This is all that is required to link with Coviu.
Repeated Page printing:
Several reports (those that employ multiple batches), such as Billing Sheets & Invoices, were printing repeatedly, a bug introduced in Release 600. This has been corrected.
Resource Day-at-Glance and Resource Week-at-Glance reports:
Errors occured recently when printing these reports, in certain circumstances. These have been corrected.
Revenue Report/Compensation export:
The exported version of this report was showing a $0 compensation amount if the service amount was $0 - this has been corrected.

The Operations Summary and Daily Reconciliation Reports are now available on the web version of Practice Perfect! The reports menu has also been re-arranged to line up with the categories on the desktop version.
EDI835 Processing:
An issue with the EDI835 Report panel being hidden behind the EDI835 Remittance Dialog panel has been corrected - this was due to a change made in which Windows handles multiple screens being open simultaneously.
Web Client Entry:
Clients entered using the web version of Practice Perfect were appearing in the Unapproved Client Listing, which was incorrect. They are now appearing in the Active Client Listing and no longer require approval. Furthermore, the User who entered the client using the web version will now also be recorded, it was not up until now.
The processing of clients self-entered through the Web Client Portal remain unaffected.
Password changes:
Users of the web version now have the ability to change their own login passwords.
Daily Scheduling note:
Daily Scheduling Notes may now be added, edited and displayed using the web version. They are available through the right-click drop-down menu when on the scheduler panel.
Client Password Reset:
When a client requests a password reset, both their username and email address will be required - and the communication of this has been clarified.
