Ontario HCAI:
This update incldues the new October 3rd, 2016 HCAI 3.16 toolkit required for submitting any OCF18s, OCF21s and OCF23's to HCAI. This update is mandatory.
Telus Health eClaims Integration:
Practice Perfect now integrates directly with the Telus Health eClaims for the submission of Extended Health Care claims to many Candian insurance companies including Great West Life, Manulife, Sun Life, Standard Life and more! Please contact our support department for more information.
Generic/Invoice Receipts Signatures:
The signature appearing on these invoices, if selected, will now reflect the Managing/Billing Provider for the patient and not necessarily the provider who performed the services.
Generic Invoice/Receipt Multi-Providers:
A modification has been made to Generic Invoice/Receipts to accomodate a new requirement by the College of Physiotherapists in Ontario to show every practitioner involved in a patient's treatment on private-pay invoices. Please contact our support department for more information on how to use this new feature.
Funding Report:
Various options on this report were not being respected and information may have appeared that was not relevant based on the filters selected. This has been corrected.
Reports Option and Filter Panels:
The report options and filter panels for the Accounts Receivable Report, Unpaid Services Report and Payment Application Report were not fitting onto some screens set for a low resolution. This has been corrected.
Errors surrounding Long Phone #'s:
Additional fixes have been made the following reports to allow for longer-style phone numbers:
Referall Report, Funding Report, Operations Summary, Billing Sheet
Other Contacts:
The Other Contact Report export now also includes the Contact Category field.
Contact Log:
When a Contact Log entry is selected as also becoming a Reminder, the Contact Log Category will now also be included in that Remiders' description.
Reminders:
An Expiry Date has now been added to recurring Reminder. Any Reminder with an Expiry Date will now fall-off the record as of that date automatically.
Find Appointment Report:
A bug existed in this report in which the Status of the previous appointment would be carried forward into the Home Phone # field for each entry, if no Home Phone # existed for that client.
Waiting List:
When booking a patient from the Waiting List, a new option will appear allowing the user to select whether or not the patient should remain on the waiting list even though they have just been booked for an appointment. Until now, as soon as Waiting List patients were booked, they were removed from the Waiting List automatically.
Custom Documents Time In/Time Out:
The Time In/Time Out entered via the Scheduler will now be reflected properly on any Custom Documents that share the same Report Date as the appointment on the scheduler.
Custom Documents Setup:
When deleting Fields, Sections, Document and Tables, the user will now be required to confirm their delete request. Until now, the items were deleted simply by clicking on the Wastebasket icon.
EDI837 and Tertiary Payors:
A bug that did not send the line level adjudication segment when the claim payor is tertiary has been corrected.
