Wired Client Settings:
The Wired Client settings have been moved to their own section under Setting, Customize Wired Client.

All outgoing emails:
A ‘reply to’ email address can now be defined for all outgoing emails from within Practice Perfect (eg; invoices, statements, receipts, waiting list and appointment reminders). This can be defined under Settings, Customize Email Appointment/Invoice notification within each individual document type in the new Reply to field. Leaving this blank will email returning to From Email Address info.

Provider Communications:
A new tab entitled Communications has been added to each Provider detail. In this new tab, the user can decide what events should trigger a text being sent to the Provider – eg; cancellations, document uploads, arrival notices, etc.

Reminders:
When adding reminders, you can now select <All Locations> for company-wide reminder blasts.
Clients
Client Deceased Date:
A new field entitled Date Deceased has been added to the Client demographic tab. This field is for reference only, at present.
Financial
Insurance Eligibility (US only):
For Waystar clearinghouse clients, a new Insurance Eligibility button has been added to the Client Policy/Claim tab. Upon highlighting the Policy-in-question and clicking this new button, Waystar will be queried as to this policy’s coverage and an on-screen report will be returned within moments.
Please note! This function will be expanded to include ALL clearinghouses in the very near future.
Clinical Documentation/EMR
Custom Documents:
- Issues concerning goals not being brought forward have been corrected.
- Issues with empty dates appearing when ‘not print if blank’ has been indicated has been corrected.
General & Setup
Security:
Authorized Providers on an incident will now respect Self Progress Notes/Documents rules. Until now, an Authorized Provider was allowed access to the entire patient’s record to which they were attached.
Reporting
General report issues:
- The Client Listing report, Find Appointment report, Revenue report and Task status report export functions all had issues of columns crossing over into each other if a double quote was contained in any of the exported data – this has been corrected.
- The processing speed of the Revenue report, Daily Reconciliation report and Operations Summary has been substantially enhanced.
Reporting
Security User Activity report:
A new option has been added to this report allowing the user to only see activities related to a specific client. The option is entitled Only show me activities related to a specific client, and then the client in-question can be selected.

Provider Compensation:
A new method for indicating Provider Compensation has been added to the Provider detail, Compensation tab. Two new fields have been added at the top of this panel for each Provider entitled Service Compensation % and Product Compensation %. If the same percentage compensation applies to ALL services and/or products for the specific Provider, those percentages can be entered in these new fields without having to indicate the percentage on each individual fee code. Anything entered on an individual fee code will override any entries in these new fields for that specific fee. Please note that this is NOT retroactive and only takes affect from the moment they are entered moving forward.
US Billing Specific
HCFA/eHCFA and EDI837 Billing:
- Any duplicate modifiers will now automatically be removed during invoice submission or printing for HCFA, eHCFA and EDI837 invoices.
- Any blank will also be automatically removed during these types of invoice submissions, as well.
Web Version
Web Report changes:
The Client Listing, Payment Application Report, Payor Listing, Payment Journal and Revenue Reports now offer the ‘exported’ version on the web version of Practice Perfect.
Patient Portal
Client Portal enhancements:
- Scheduled Shifts for each Provider now each contain a new Web Booking tick box – if a special shift is available for patients to book from the client portal, this new tick box should be selected for that specific shift.
- For those clinics using online payments, the Discover and Amex logos can now each be removed from the payment entry box should you not accept these card types. Please contact our support department to make this change.
- Time slots not actually available were showing up as available for booking where a Web Booking Max Separation WAS indicated but the Web Booking for that Provider was NOT indicated. This has been corrected.
- Under Settings, Customize Client Portal, in the General tab a new option entitled Client can add themselves to the Waiting list has been added. If selected, clients using the portal will be able to add themselves to the Waiting List along with their specific timing preferences if they cannot find an appropriate appointment time.
- Receipts printed from the client portal now mimic the receipts printed by the clinic, containing all of the same details.
Patient Portal
Client Check-In app:
- The Client check-In app will now respect the verbiage indicated in the Settings, Other, Client Check-in tab.
- The app also now requires an additional letter when entering the patient’s first name to better-facilitate similarly-named patients.
- This app now also allows clients to Check Out! The check out time will be recorded automatically in Practice Perfect can be found on the Find Appointment report or from the Appointment Detail function directly from the scheduler.

Telus Health billing (Canada only):
- POS v2026.1, released on January 25th, 2025 has been included in this release.
- POS v2025.4.1, released on November 15th, 2025 has been included in this release.
- POS v2024.4, released on October 20th, 2025 has been included in this release.
