From February 15 to 18, Practice Perfect EMR will be setting up shop at the CSM 2017 conference. This annual conference gathers the best and brightest PTs for the largest physical therapy conference in America. Whether you regularly attend these types of conferences, or you’re visiting for the first time, CSM 2017 is certain to have something for everyone.
The Exhibit Hall
The CSM 2017 Exhibit Hall will be located in the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center. It will feature more than 300 different healthcare businesses whose products and services are designed specifically for PT professionals. You’re welcome to visit us at Booth #627!
As with most conferences, there are a number of educational seminars taking place over the course of several days. The vast majority of them apply to anyone and everyone working in a PT clinic, but there are a handful of sessions that are geared towards specific types of physical therapy. For example, there are events that are focus exclusively on aquatic therapy, and there are events that revolve around pediatric PT. That said, it’s definitely worth checking out the 2017 programs listing and seeing if there’s an event that appeals to you.
Unlike the educational seminars, the platform presentations give researchers an opportunity to share the clinical findings that they reported in their scholarly articles. They’re significantly shorter than the educational seminars as they’re intended to inform the audience rather than teach them. All the same, these presentations still give attendees an opportunity to learn something new, and to be on the leading edge of physical therapy research.
San Antonio, Texas
San Antonio is the second largest city in Texas, and that means there’ll be plenty of things for you to do when you’re not hanging around the exhibit hall or attending seminars. History buffs may be interested in checking out the famed Alamo. Or, you can go for a leisurely stroll along the world-famous Riverwalk (pictured above).
We look forward to connecting with you at the CSM 2017 conference. This year’s event is bound to be a good one!
