The Practice Perfect Press: January ’25

Welcome to the January edition of our monthly e-newsletter! In this issue we dive into some upcoming changes to our Client Portal, an exciting development at Clinical Billing Solutions, and an update on our PenPal AI trial.

Our Latest Release

Practice Perfect’s latest official release is Version R650. For more information about the updates and changes included in this release, click here.

Upcoming Changes to the Client Portal

In our latest update to the Client Portal, we’re focusing on the patient registration process. Right now, when a new patient signs up in the Client Portal, they’re able to complete their basic demographic information, insurance information, and agree to your clinic’s policies. But there’s often more specific intake forms that need to be completed–and that tends to happen when they physically arrive at the clinic.

This is why we’re adding a new feature that will allow you to include links to your custom intake forms in the Client Portal. When the patient reaches the end of the registration process, they will be prompted to complete them. And as an added bonus; if you’re using our Online Intake Forms, completed forms will be automatically imported into Practice Perfect where they can be easily assigned to the newly created Client Profile.

So if you’d like to grant your patients a new way to interact with your clinic, contact support today by clicking here.

Clinical Billing Solutions: Under New Ownership

We’re excited to inform you that Clinical Billing Solutions, Practice Perfect’s revenue cycle management arm, is under new ownership. And what’s more, they’re using AI to scrub claims, submit them to insurance carriers, and process remittances, leading to same-day claim submission and an overall shorter time between treatment and reimbursement.

PenPal AI: An Update on the Trial

PenPal AI’s trial period is marching along with a couple of changes already being implemented based upon the feedback of our first users. For example, some clinicians prefer to record their conversations with patients rather than dictate their notes, so in our latest release, we’ve extended the maximum length of the recording 45 minutes. We’re also adding a feature that will allow you to edit your transcripts, as well as a find and replace feature to correct things like misheard names.

Next month, we’re aiming to expand the trial period to more users, so if you haven’t already, be sure to click the button below to join our waitlist.
