Coviu, Practice Perfect’s telehealth software provider, has a long-standing partnership with Pearson Clinical to integrate the digital stimulus books and digital administration of commonly used Pearson assessments into Coviu’s platform. 

Available are a number of Pearson assessments whereby the digital stimulus books are embedded within the Coviu call, allowing clinicians to display the stimuli without leaving your window. Clinicians and clients can see each other’s cursor movements over the stimulus book, allowing clinicians to direct the client’s attention. When the client selects a response, an annotation with numbers indicates the order of responses. 

Assessments conducted through Coviu ensure a standardized environment that modifies the client’s interface and reduces the risk of distraction. A substantial number of studies support the claim that Pearson assessments delivered via virtual care are comparable to in-person assessments.

Digital administration is available on a number of supported Pearson assessments, in addition to the stimulus book (with more coming soon!).

When a supported assessment is installed, clinicians can view the administration rules, the detailed subtest administration procedures and the basic scoring procedures for each item in the assessment ensuring maximum engagement with the examinee.

How to Install

To get started, make sure you have an active Coviu Account. Pearson Batteries can then be installed with the help of Coviu’s support team with a 1:1 consultation! Once installed each app can then be viewed within your consultation under ‘Apps & Tools’, ready to be used with clients!
