Earlier this week, we officially announced that Practice Perfect has acquired an ownership stake in Clinical Billing Solutions–a medical billing company based out of Orange, California–that’s been using Practice Perfect exclusively for more than a decade to manage clinics’ revenue cycles.

The Top 3 Reasons Why You Should Be Using Our FREE Client Portal


Practice Perfect’s FREE Client Portal continues to receive regular updates and added functionality. It’s our goal to make online interactions between patients and your clinic more fluent. Here’s how:


Clients Can Request Appointments


If your clients are asking to schedule their appointments online, they can with the Client Portal. But rest assured that you have the ability to control whether they are added to your scheduler automatically, or if they have to be approved by your staff beforehand.


Clients Can Upload and Download Documents


If you’re in need of a HIPAA/PIPEDA to exchange documents with your clients, we’ve got you covered. The Client Portal includes an intuitive feature that allows you to make client documents in Practice Perfect downloadable by your patients, and provides them with a way to upload documents directly into their Client Profile.

Clients Can Pay Their Bills Online


This is hands down the biggest update to the Client Portal yet! We’re working with the team from Global Payments Integrated to help clinics accept online payments from their patients. Remove the barriers between your patients and their bills with this handy new feature.

What’s in Store for Practice Perfect in 2023

The team is firmly in denial that we’re only a few weeks out from 2023. It feels like just yesterday that we were talking about our plans for 2022. Yet here we are, and what a year it’s been.

In 2023, we’ve got some exciting things in store for Practice Perfect clients. To start, we’ll be expanding upon the capabilities of our client portal. We’ll be adding a more customizable interface. Patients will have more ways to interact with the clinic by updating their contact and demographic information online. We’ll also be working on streamlining the intake process. And finally, we’ll be launching our long-awaited online payments feature.

We’ve been listening to your feedback and have some big updates planned for our Clearinghouse integrations. These updates will allow you to check patient eligibility and verify insurance coverage from within Practice Perfect. So be sure to stay tuned for more news on this throughout early 2023!

We’ll be at ASHA 2022 in New Orleans!

The annual ASHA convention is considered by many to be the premier professional development and networking event for speech-language pathologists and audiologists. In 2022, ASHA is heading to New Orleans and we’ll be there, too! 

From Wednesday, November 16 to Friday, November 18, Practice Perfect will have a booth in the exhibit hall where we’ll be meeting with clients, old and new, and catching up on all things Practice Perfect.

Progress on the Online Payment Portal

You may have heard that Practice Perfect is finally releasing our online payment portal. While we’re still a couple weeks away from its official release, now is the perfect time to start preparing your clinic to collect patient payments online. Here’s how:

– Are you already using our Client Portal? If not, contact the support department today to gain access to this cost-free plug in. In addition, you can give patients the ability to request appointments online, on their own time, exchange documents with your clinic, and more.

– You’ll also need to be working with Global Payments–our debit and credit processing partner. They are fully-integrated with Practice Perfect, they provide state of the art debit and credit processing terminals, and very competitive rates. For a limited time, they are also offering a $450 credit on your first statement.

NEW Client Portal Features are Here!

 

 

The development of the Client Portal continues with the addition of Documents. In R597, clients can securely upload documents to the Client Portal, such as their medical history and insurance information.

 

Conversely, clients can sign in and download documents provided by the clinic, like their clinical records. When you’re in the client’s profile in Practice Perfect, you’ll notice a new column called Portal. If you check off the box here, the document will be available for the client to download through the Client Portal.

 

As a reminder, the Client Portal is a cost-free plugin. If you’d like to see it in action, check out the above video.

 

The Learning Center Gets a Makeover

 

 

The Practice Perfect Learning Center is home to an array of helpful tutorial videos. Whether you’re a new Practice Perfect user, you’re training new team members, or you’d like to learn more about a particular feature, the Learning Centre is a great place to start.

 

In the last month, we’ve completely redesigned the the Learning Center to make it more accessible to users both old and new. You’ll find that it’s simplified, reorganized, and easier on the eyes.

Accessing Practice Perfect through a Web Browser

 

You may have heard of the Practice Perfect Web App before. It allows you to access some of the most-used features like scheduling and documentation through a web browser.

 

Our goal has always been to offer all of the features available in the Practice Perfect desktop application in the Web App. And in our latest build, we’ve taken a big step in that direction.

 

Users of the Web App can now access the following features:

 

– Treatment charge entry

– Faxing documents

– Selected reports (i.e. Patient Fall-off, Funding, Client Listing, Progress Note & Document Status, and more)

 

As a reminder, there are no additional charges for the Practice Perfect Web App. To get started, get in touch with the Support Department today!
